Home Improvement

Alas when you own a home there is the never ending need to make improvements and continue to make the house your own. Well we are no exception. A couple of weeks ago David called upon family and friends (Brother Danny, Brother-in-law Jerry and long time friend Doug) to come and help us tear down our deck and build a new one. Well this was MUCH easier said than done...after a lot more work than David anticipated they got more than half way done and David and I finished up the rest. It looks great and we cannot thank the guys enough for their help. Our second project will begin on July 3..we are having our kitchen revamped. Kitchen Tune-up is coming and replacing all of our cabinet doors with new ones, new pulls, new hinges and painting the cabinet boxes to match (a bisque color) and we are also getting new counter tops. Our third project is to hopefully get the front flower beds in some sort of shape. All of this needed to be done but it is in anticipation of having Kaitlyn's first birthday. So anyway I have a new found respect for the movie the Money Pit. There will be before and after pics to come.
