Just a quick update on David, he went into the hospital on Wednesday with severe pains in his lower abdomen...he knew what it was...KIDNEY STONES! David related to me how backward the so-called hospital or clinic was and he got a good dose of what univeral healthcare is like. He passed the stone about 10 pm that night and has another one on the way. He was discharged yesterday with a fist full of pain pills to pass this stone at the apartment or at work. He says he will not go back to that hospital again and if he feels like it is bad enough he will come home and not be "Superman" which I somehow doubt. He is armed with pain pills although he cannot take them at work so we shall see. On a brighter note he did find a cafe that has WiFi and we got to actually SEE him this morning at a quarter to 4 in the morning! That was fun--- but it was great to see our Daddy...he looks great and we cannot wait to see him in person! I will keep everyone updated on his health in future posts. For now enjoy a Farside cartoon--funny!
