Today was our annual March for Babies here in Mobile. This is an event that we dearly love and we have been involved in since Kait was born in 2006. It is such a worthy cause and we really do enjoy it every year. We want Kait to know how special she is, what a miracle she is. This years walk was very nice, at the University of South Alabama. The weather could not have been nicer. A special thanks to our family team, "Tater's Troup"--they include Maw Maw (David's mom), Gigi and PaPaw (my Mom and stepdad), Gran and Gran Neil (My dad and step mom) and Aunt Robyn and Taylor V. (my stepsister and her daughter). It is so great to see the love for Kait and us as well as we try to raise as much money as we can for the March of Dimes. We believe that their work and research saved our child! A speaker said it so profoundly today, "there is a family in the NICU today who does not know if they have a tomorrow with their child." We got our tomorrow and we are so blessed and thankful beyond belief to have Kaitlyn, our light. Oh yea, we raised over 500.00!!! Thanks to all and pics to come later.

Great job and great post!! I remember walking in the walk when I was younger (actually I have a newspaper clipping of my oldest sister and I one year)!!!
What you said in your posy was just beautiful..I didn't hear her say that, but it really brings you back to that time when we didn't know what to expect and were so worried about the two of you..wow,we are soooo blessed..we must learn not to sweat the small things, and think of our baby girl when things seem so unbearable..gigi
