We just got back from Atlanta, we decided to just do a little 3 day vacation to Atlanta and it was fun! As usual it takes Kaitlyn at least a day to get acclimated, we always have problems with her sleeping and eating whenever we go out of town and she is out of her element. We stayed at a hotel called the Georgian Terrace in Midtown Atlanta, about 3 blocks away from Georgia Tech. The first evening we went to the Varsity, a very famous hangout for the college crowd and great chili dogs. The next day we set out for the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola. After a nice long walk we reached our destination. The aquarium was very cool and Kait seemed to really enjoy seeing the animals. We always know there will be a melt down when it is time for a nap and hunger sets in but we decided to go ahead and do the World of Coke, well Kaitlyn met a friend for life, the Coca-Cola Polar Bear. She fell in love with him and cried when we left him. We ate lunch at the CNN Center but it was time for the melt down so.. we headed back to the hotel. The next day was Zoo Atlanta, what a great place! Kaitlyn just loves animals and she was really interested in everything. She got to pet a goat and was very gentle. Overall a good trip, traveling with a 2 year old can be challenging but we do the best we can. Enjoy the pics.

The pics are so cute. I'm glad you got to go somewhere this summer. Hopefully you can go up with us to see Bubba..Gigi
As I said, Kaitlyn is not afraid of anything. Seriously, wouldn't most children her age be a little intimidated by that TREMENDOUS bear?! She tried it all looks like. Such great pictures and such a nice, short, sweet trip. Gran
