This Memorial Day is very different from the past my family has celebrated. This year it all hits a little to close to home as my brother Alex is at basic training as we speak. So just take a little time to remember those soldiers we have lost, those who survived and those who are getting their booties kicked learning to be soldier! Go Alex, we are so proud of you and we love you!

OH MELANIE!!! What a BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE to your brother and his fellow soldiers serving in the military. I only wish he could see it right now. I'm sure he is holding strong, but this would swell him up with so much pride that he would get through this even stronger!! Thanks so much from a very nervous but proud mom. Gigi
